​Before the match: Let your child know you're still supporting them, even without your voice.

​During the match: Show your appreciation for good play by clapping – every player will hear and enjoy your support!

​After the match: Give positive feedback about all the good things they did – it's a huge confidence booster!

​Why? Keeping the sidelines quiet helps reduce distraction and confusion, allowing every player to hear their coach's voice when needed, and ensuring that they can focus on enjoying the game.

​We also want to take this opportunity to emphasize that many of our referees are young people who are learning the game, just like our players.

​They will inevitably make mistakes – it is part of their learning journey. This weekend, and every weekend, please remember that our young referees deserve our full backing and support. We ask that you extend the principle of "Silent Support" to them as well, fostering an environment where they can learn and grow without undue pressure or criticism.
